Can I create posts on behalf of another user via REST?

For a cross-posting integration I need to create a post attributed to a specific member, not the API user. Is there a supported way to set the author on POST /posts?

One caveat for larger communities: keep an eye on the indexes. At a few thousand rows the difference is night and day.
